My right hand/fingers were going numb. I ended up taking 3+ years off. I've figured out how to paint with minimal/no numbness so I'm back with a vengeance!

If I don't try to break in to doing original artwork, I'll never do original art. I want it so badly, but it scares the crap outta me.

A friend of mine from High School asked if I could create a horror or sci-fi--Sci-Fi Horror!--illustration for him. Absolutely no constraints on style, content--except for the theme--and I'm going to try to sketch out some ideas. I always feel like my ideas are TOO based on everything I see of other people's artwork. But, maybe that's just how it works? And I would sketch something out and it would naturally evolve in to however I see it.

The Dude is complete... now I just need to finish my Jesus Quintana and start the 8 other characters I'm using for a storyboarded intro to The Big Lebowski (assignment for one of my art classes)

Had my Intuos 3 since 2006, did one awful pic last year in February.  Was shown Daarken's new site: Enliighten.  Been actually learning and growing a lot over the last few pics.
